Currently, we are in the process of "covering."
This is a crucial step where the tea fields are covered to block out sunlight.

...And what happens as a result—
As you can see, the tea fields are entirely black.

For those who imagine "tea = beautiful green tea fields," this sight might be a bit anticlimactic (lol).

However, these "black tea fields" are a vital extra step to bring out the umami and sweetness.
From here, that rich flavor is born.

While it may not look glamorous, the deliciousness is steadily being prepared.
