There are many types of Uji tea, including products that are blended with tea from neighboring prefectures other than Kyoto and finished within Kyoto.

This "Uji Tea Organic Ichibancha" is a Uji tea that uses only 100% tea leaves grown in Kyoto Prefecture. Organic green tea produced at a limited tea plantation in Minamiyamashiro Dosenbo, Soraku District, Kyoto Prefecture. Among them, we only use first-class tea made by picking the first sprouts of the year.

Organic Ichibancha grown without the use of pesticides in a tea garden with a marked difference in temperature between day and night and clear air. It is characterized by its pleasant aroma and the delicious taste of the new buds.

How to make a delicious brew

1. Cool the boiled water to about 70-80 degrees. (Lukewarm water tastes better)

2. Add tea leaves for the number of people, using 1 tablespoon per person as a guide, and pour in hot water.

3. After about 1 minute depending on your preference, pour it all out.

4. For the second brew, increase the water temperature and shorten the steeping time.
