We use Saemidori, a miraculous variety hailed as the highest quality, born from a cross between Asatsuyu and Yabukita varieties. Its rich umami flavor, mild astringency, and sweetness are its defining features. We pay particular attention to the steaming process of the tea leaves to maximize the flavor and color when brewed drip-style. By carefully adjusting the steaming so that it doesn't get too deep, we are able to highlight the distinctive green color. The vibrant green, reminiscent of spring vegetation, stands out in tea utensils.
Just a few decades ago, tea was still a familiar beverage brewed at home, bringing with it moments of relaxation, family time, and the delicious taste of tea.
Since tea bags and bottled drinks have come to dominate tea consumption, while convenient, these casual yet precious moments have become less frequent. At the same time, the habit of drinking loose leaf tea has also disappeared. However, loose leaf tea offers the flavor of the tea leaves themselves that cannot be found in bottled drinks or tea bags.
